Cherry Head Rye 1 Whisky 500mL

Utilizing cherry wood in the heads of our Canadian oak casks, has added an entirely new element to our

Rye. On the nose you’ll find hints of raisin, stewed red fruits, cherry pits, red licorice with some floral

notes and cedar and pine. Rich rye spice dominates the palate with clove and cinnamon, with more of

those red fruits coming through, with soft tannins riding the finish, complimented with pleasant

sandalwood notes.

Throughout the year we are constantly pulling samples from each cask and when one is deemed to be

the best, that cask is flipped over and bottled as is. Single cask, at cask strength. It is our truest

expression of local grain, oak, people and place that we could possibly make.
